- I used to be a webhost my self until I sold my business. I know it when I see a good webhost and this is it. A Small Orange is the best web host that I have found. Check them out, chat with them and see for your self. They will reply to you probably within 15 to 20 minutes.By garg, 2 years 16 weeks ago

Could you expand on that
Could you expand on that further? By "dynamic" you mean?
I mean sites that normally
I mean sites that normally have a some kind of database back-end doing a lot of work.
Unlike static sites, dynamic sites do not simply send a piece of html to the user viewing the webpage. Instead a program is run each time to generate the html the the user will see, and then this is what is sent.
Both these things mean the server is working much harder for dynamic sites.
Needs are important
Needs are important
Example, I am doing some Ruby applications with others. So we got a hosting company that specialized in Ruby on Rails, etc. That is one thing, does it do what you want? Ruby, Blogs, e-mail, website, etc.
Another thing to think about other than bandwidth, etc. is: does the system have the CPU to deal with the work you want -- in the Ruby example above it was a VPS (virtual private server -- more than one person on a system) -- our application had a back-end that brought us and everyone else to their knees while it did its initial processing -- you did not mention this kind of need -- but it is something to think about.

Static or dynamic site?
This is an important consideration is as it will determine the kind of server you will require.
